We Are Habitat was designed as a platform to test what it would take to empower volunteers to blog and fundraise for Habitat projects.

With only a tight budget to work with, I needed to wear many hats on this project from stakeholder management through requirements and prototyping. The site was then built out in Drupal with the help of MetalToad Media in Portland, OR.

The test was an incredible success. Teams using the new system created new content and raised on average 5x more money than the typical volunteer project.

I'm very proud of this project and my work with Habitat for Humanity over the course of a year. This project has since evolved and has become what is share.habitat.org today.
